​Hi everyone,

It’s Lisa Jardine calling from Leatherbarrow Primary with your Tuesday talk mail. Happy October! I am attaching the October newsletter and calendar. Please take some time to read what is happening this busy month. 

We have sent you all of the information we have received from Transportation related to changes that are occurring as a result of the repairs to the green bridge. I am hopeful all changes have been communicated to you by the drivers also as they often know more specific information than we do. Transportation has assured me that your child's safety will continue to be a priority during these changes.

This week, your child is bringing home information about our first after school movie of the year. Our movie will be happening on Thursday, October 12th. If your child would like to stay and participate, please send the money and the permission slip back to the school by next Thursday.

Many of you have asked about school clothing. School clothing orders are now being accepted online. This will be the only school clothing order we place this year. Please see the newsletter for further information. School clothing can be a fun holiday gift!

For those of you who ordered hot lunch, our first hot lunch will be this Friday. 

Finally, this weekend is Thanksgiving! This week, we will be talking about all the things for which we are thankful. We have a lot to be thankful about here at Leatherbarrow! I hope you and your family have a very Happy Thanksgiving and have time to enjoy the long weekend together.
